REGULATIONS

for the International Festival
“Eggifest – Dream Together”

1. General Provisions

1.1. These Regulations define the objectives, format, participation procedure, and conditions for holding the international cultural and educational festival “Eggifest – Dream Together” (hereinafter referred to as the Festival).

1.2. The Festival is not a contest, competition, lottery, advertising campaign, or gambling activity.
There are no winners, prizes, rankings, or voting that affect results within the Festival.

1.4. Festival geography: 27 countries of the European Union.

1.5. Participation in the Festival is free of charge.

1.6. In the event of discrepancies between language versions of these Regulations, the English version shall prevail.

2. Objectives of the Festival

The Festival is held with the aim of:

  • developing a culture of dreaming, creativity, and imagination in children;
  • engaging families in joint creative activities;
  • creating a unified international artistic work from individual contributions by children;
  • strengthening cultural ties between countries of the European Union;
  • forming a long-term cultural archive of children’s creativity.

3. Participants and Legal Representatives

3.1. Festival participants may be children aged 6 to 12 inclusive as of the registration date.

3.2. Registration for participation is carried out exclusively by the child’s legal representative (parent or legal guardian).

3.3. Each child may be registered once per Festival cycle.

4. Participation Format and the Festival Capsule

4.1. Participation in the Festival consists of creating and decorating an egg-shaped capsule (hereinafter referred to as the Capsule) jointly by the child and their legal representative.

4.2. Each Capsule has two sides:

4.2.1. Side No. 1 — Free Creative Side

  • decorated by the child and parents at their own discretion;
  • unique for each participant;
  • reflects the family’s individual creativity;
  • subject to publication on the Festival website.

4.2.2. Side No. 2 — Unified Festival Side

  • decorated strictly in accordance with the artistic concept of the Organizer;
  • must be reproduced exactly based on the image received by the participant via e-mail after registration;
  • used to form a single visual composition consisting of multiple Capsules.

4.3. Precise compliance with the design of Side No. 2 is a mandatory condition for participation in the Festival.

4.4. Internal Content of the Capsule

4.4.1. Each child participating in the Festival must:

  • write their dream by hand or depict it in the form of a drawing on a sheet of paper;
  • place this sheet inside the Capsule.

4.4.2. The content placed inside the Capsule:

  • is not subject to publication;
  • is not opened or evaluated within the Festival;
  • constitutes part of the child’s personal symbolic contribution to the Festival.

4.4.3. The Organizer does not collect, process, or analyze texts or drawings placed inside the Capsules.

5. Registration and Actions of the Legal Representative

5.1. To participate in the Festival, the legal representative must register on the Festival Platform.

5.2. During registration, the following data is provided:

  • child’s age;
  • city and country of residence;
  • contact details of the legal representative.

5.3. After successful registration, the legal representative receives by e-mail:

  • the image of Side No. 2 of the Capsule;
  • a unique participant identification code.

5.4. The legal representative undertakes to:

  • decorate Side No. 2 of the Capsule strictly according to the received image;
  • transfer the unique code to the bottom of the Capsule packaging;
  • ensure the correct and complete decoration of both sides of the Capsule.

6. Participation Timeframes

6.1. The Festival is held within the timeframes determined by the Organizer and published on the Festival Platform.

6.2. From the moment of successful registration, each participant is granted an individual participation period of 7 (seven) calendar days.

6.3. Within this period, the legal representative must:

  • complete the decoration of the Capsule;
  • photograph both sides of the Capsule;
  • submit the photographs to the Organizer in the manner specified on the Platform.

6.4. Photographs are considered accepted only if they successfully pass moderation conducted by the Organizer.

6.5. If:

  • the photographs are not submitted within 7 calendar days from registration, or
  • the submitted photographs do not pass moderation,

the participant loses the right to participate in the Festival, and their Capsule is not included in the exhibition or the unified Festival display.

6.6. Extension of the participation period is not предусмотрено, except in cases of technical failure or force majeure circumstances recognized by the Organizer.

7. Photo Documentation and Publication

7.1. Each Festival participant must submit photographs of both sides of the Capsule.

7.2. The photograph of Side No. 1:

  • is published on the website eggifest.com;
  • is available for viewing by website visitors;
  • may receive “likes”;
  • is not used to determine winners or any results.

7.3. The photograph of Side No. 2 is used by the Organizer exclusively for:

  • proper formation of the exhibition;
  • organizational and exhibition purposes.

8. Exhibition of Capsules

8.1. All Capsules that have participated in the Festival become part of a single artistic installation.

8.2. The installation is located on the island of Cyprus and constitutes the central object of the Festival.

8.3. No individual evaluation, comparison, or selection of Capsules is carried out.

9. Participant Certificates

9.1. Each participant who fulfills the conditions of these Regulations receives a personalized certificate of participation in the international Festival “Dreams Without Borders”.

9.2. The certificate confirms the child’s participation in an international cultural project.

10. Ownership and Storage of Capsules

10.1. All Capsules created and submitted within the Festival are the property of the Organizer.

10.2. Capsules are stored on the island of Cyprus.

10.3. The Organizer has the right to use the Capsules:

  • for exhibition purposes;
  • for the development and scaling of the Festival;
  • in cultural, educational, and exhibition projects.

11. Personal Data and Security

11.1. The Organizer processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR and applicable European Union legislation.

11.2. Only the minimum necessary data is processed.

12. Final Provisions

12.1. Participation in the Festival constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Regulations by the legal representative.

12.2. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Regulations without infringing the rights of already registered participants.

12.3. The governing law is the law of the Republic of Cyprus.
